Bo Obama’s status as the most famous Portuguese Water Dog in the world has been reinforced by his appearance on the official White House Christmas card.

The cover of the card features Bo on a snow-covered White House lawn. It was painted by Larassa Kabel.

The inscription inside the card reads: “This season, may your home be filled with family, friends, and the joy of the holidays.” It is signed by Barack Obama, Michelle Obama, Malia Obama, Sasha Obama, and Bo (with a paw print).

This is the second year in a row that four-year-old Bo has appeared on the White House Christmas card. The 2011 card featured Bo snoozing by the fire in a painting by Mark Matuszak.
